Polk County Produce Growes Breakfast Meeting

The last Polk County Produce Growers Breakfast meeting for 2022 will occur on November 17th at the Polk County Farm Bureau office, 900 Hwy. 59 Loop N. Livingston, TX 77351 . The meeting will start at 8:00 and the topic will be marketing. Speaker will be Manuel Martinez from Texas Department of Agriculture and will cover rules and regulations for selling produce and other farm products. Mr. Martinez will also cover ways for local growers to promote and market their products including the Go Texan Program. Polk County Produce Growers Breakfast meeting is supported by Polk County Farm Bureau and Polk County AgriLife Extension. The goal is to provide education for local growers from backyard gardeners to commercial growers and to support the produce industry in Polk County. The program is free and donuts will be provided.
